Watercolor. Note that the "OPEN" sign, which I painstakingly painted in reverse, has been flipped around again by the iMac reversey-camera.It was better before I added the, er, "plant".
The cafe sketch I posted yesterday was actually painted with a full paintbox, hence the strong colors. This was done with the teeny-tiny watercolor kit I made:
The blue thing is a Japanese waterbrush, which is sort of like a brush pen, except that instead of ink, there's water.
