an amusing and amusingly crappy copy of Sargent

An attempt to copy a John Singer Sargent painting with a very limited palette: only black, white, warm brown, cool brown. (Suggestion came from Virtual Gouache Land). It turned out like not such a good copy, but has another quality, which, as Curator suggests, makes it look a little like a portrait of an inquisitive alien. Maybe like the ones from The Arrival. Perhaps she is inquisitive about the taste of your flesh. Ah, if only she had a mouth.
