K - can you tell me why you like it? I was getting horribly frustrated as I was doing it, and afterwards thought, this is not actually half bad, but it's still fucked in five ways, and you're the second person to really react to it.
you got the ambience, and cafes tend to have the pleasant ones you'd want to capture, at once social and quiet. that's why you were there, right? i think the blue-green shadowing has a nice dramatic effect. it's gives some of the mood, and unifies the picture, thus 'setting the tone'? a lot of people would react to it. it's inviting. i esp like looking at the upper right corner, the dark crevice, and the purple of the figure. nice picture. in the words of another sketcher upon seeing it, "ooohh."
